Fogas Out – Cornish In

Anthony Fogas training out of Nemesis Melbourne today withdrew from the BRACE Bantamweight Championship Tournament so he can commit to his University Studies. After winning his round one match up in a tough contest vs Bowen Cornish back at BRACE 33 Newcastle, he was scheduled to fight Mark Baskin at BRACE 36 Sydney.

Bowen Cornish will now get another chance at Championship Glory as the new replacement to face Mark Baskin.

Bowen is an impressive new talent training out of Sydney West Martial Arts under Luke Martin but he will certainly have his hands full when he fights Baskin who trains out of VT1 under Liam Resnekov.

Mark Baskin has notable stablemates in UFC Fighters Richard Walsh & Alex Chambers and won his first round battle back on BRACE 32 vs Tom Cruz (KMA).

CORNISH vs BASKIN – Two of Sydney’s rising bantamweights will go head to head in this cross city war and only one will move onto the November Grand Final.
